Arkansas Century Farm – Freeze

A fifth generation is now operating farmland that has been in the Freeze family since 1905 and has been qualified for inclusion in the Arkansas Century Farm Program. The John A. Freeze Farm is on of three inducted in October, and one of six from Stone County added since the program's inception in 2012. Fire Destroys Four Chicken Houses

Four poultry houses operated by Jason Huskey on Northcutt Road burned around 3 a.m. on Dec. 15. The houses were for laying hens and were joined by an egg conveyor system.
