A Stone County employee was confirmed positive for the COVID-19 virus Sunday, and County Judge Stacey Avey and nine other employees are under voluntary quarantine this week as a precaution. The employee resides in another county so the case will not be assigned to Stone County on the Arkansas Department of Health map that tracks cases by county. However, Stone County had other tests pending and was added to the map Monday with 1-4 cases.
