Bobby Batson, 8-year-old actor, has secured his newest role as Dax Dash in TNT’s latest drama, “Good Behavior.” Batson will make his television debut alongside actress Michelle Dockery, who played Lady Mary in the hit show “Downtown Abbey.”

Set to air in November, “Good Behavior” has been picked up for nine episodes.

Batson was previously in the screen adaptation of the book “90 Minutes in Heaven” and has just returned from filming a horror movie in which he was cast as one of the leads. That project, which filmed for 14 days in Kentucky, cast Batson as the son of actors Trevor Donovan and Vail Bloom.

When not making movies and television shows, Batsen enjoys playing sports and video games and is active in his school and community. He is the son of Dr. John and Rachel Shipman Batson of Ft. Stewart, Ga. He is the grandson of Larry and Margaret Sweeney King of Quitman and the late Don Shipman.
