Mountain View High School softball team played three games last week, winning one.
The Lady Yellowjackets hosted Harding Academy March 29 and were defeated 12-7.
Emry Johnson pitched seven innings, giving up five earned runs on five hits. She struck out nine batters.
Kylie Minick hit for a single and a three-run home run. Rylee Shipman also got two hits, both singles. Emily Fletcher hit a triple and recorded one RBI, as did Lailee Barker. Johnson and Grace Solis each recorded a hit.
The team travelled to Calico Rock on March 30, winning 17-7.
Minick and Johnson each hit two singles and a triple, getting three RBIs. Fletcher hit two singles and racked up five RBIs. Shipman hit a single and got three RBIs. Alliyah Goodman and Emily Carter each hit a single and got one RBI, and Barker and Holland each hit a single.
Johnson pitched seven innings, giving up two earned runs and seven hits. She struck out 10 batters.
Against Pangburn on April 1, Mountain View was outscored 13-0.
Minick had the only hit for Mountain View with a single.
