Friday, Oct. 9 through Sunday Oct. 11, disc golfers from 14 different states will be in Mountain View for the 9th Annual Arkansas Masters Disc Golf Tournament hosted by Bluegrass Trails Disc Golf Club.
36 professionals and 64 amateur disc golfers spread among 17 different (12 men, 5 women) divisions will be in Mountain View competing for cash in the pro divisions, and for trophies among the amateurs.
With more than 700 participants since its inception, only three players from Mountain View have won The Arkansas Masters, which indicates there are serious competitors traveling from all over the country to this A-tier disc golf tournament.
Disc golfers will play one round for three consecutive days. The public is welcomed. The first tee times will be at 8 a.m. Friday morning at Bluegrass Trails Disc Golf Course off North Knox Avenue in Mountain View.
