JPs Appoint Initial School Board Members

The Stone County Quorum Court met in special session Monday, March 16, to make appointments of school board members for the Rural Special and Timbo School Districts, which are in the process of re-forming following a vote by patrons to detach from the Mountain View School District.

Board members for Rural Special are:
Position 1 - Renee Carr
Position 2 - Dustin Stewart
Position 3 - Dan Morrison
Position 4 - Trilla Kennedy
Position 5 - Roger Hipp

The Rural Special board planned to have an organizational meeting Tuesday evening.

Board members for Timbo are:
Position 1 - Melissa Sutton
Position 2 - Ilse Jordan
Position 3 - Karen Ross
Position 4 - Jonathan Schrock
Position 5 - Brenda Lewis
