Rural Special won two games against Shirley Nov. 7, with the junior boys taking a 42-30 win, and the senior boys notching a 51-42 victory.
The Shirley senior girls dominated the fourth quarter of play to win 59-45.
For the junior boys, Logan Newman led scoring with 18 points, while Tucker Taylor added 12 and Hudson Nichols 7.
The senior girls got 17 points from Rayleigh Turner, while Emma Goins added 10 and Aubree Linville scored 9.
The senior boy game was close throughout, and the haltime score was a tie at 25 all. Kasen Stevens got fired up in the third quarter scoring 9 points while also drawing a charging foul and blocking at least one shot. The Rebels led 41-38 going into the final period.
Cole Linville scored 8 points in the fourth quarter as part of his 21-point effort on the night. Stevens tallied 18.
