What started as an effort to simply preserve a local landmark has seemingly become a labor of love for everyone involved in creating The Gathering Place at Big Flat.
Sam and Pat Pemberton purchased the landmark corner store and it has been brought back to life with the help of Mark and Donna Cary (pictured) and others.
