This year’s Arkansas Folk Festival avoided stormy weather, and there was some rain early Saturday morning that caused some to change plans for the day, but overall the weekend was mostly cool and breezy.
Competitions during the two-day event had winners as follows:
Parade floats – Ozark Folk Center, first; Urban Forge, second; Autism Awareness, third.
Tractor show – Allen Jayne won first with a 1948 McCormick Farmall Super C. Eric Reed was second with a 1937 John Deere. Kevin Huff was third with a 1951 Minneapolis Moline UTU.
Smokin’ on the Square – Chris Marshall, first; C.D. Hackworth, second; Adam Raymond, third.
