Flag Ceremony Honors Joey Thomas

The Stone County Honor Guard prepares to fold a U.S. flag to be presented to Joey Thomas, formerly of Fifty Six, who is retiring this year after 29 years with the U.S. Air Force. The flag was flown over the veteran's memorial on the courtsquare briefly before the permanent flag was raised to full staff on Memorial Day. See the full story in the May 29, 2019 issue.
