A free youth football day camp is set for April 30 for the 3rd grade through the 12th grade at the Mountain View High School field house practice field. Eighth grade through 12th grade will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and 3rd grade through 7th grade from 1 p.m. to 3:30. Attire is T-shirts and shorts.
With the challenges of today’s economy the Mountain View All Sports group, a support group for all youth sports will provide assistance with all various youth sports projects for the Mountain View area. Mountain View All Sports can help assist those who need support to travel to events and fund equipment and apparel needs.
The youth football day camp will be an opportunity to learn and have fun with athletes from various colleges and backgrounds. Kevin McCarn from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, Steve Dudley from Harding University and Jim Carouth from Arkansas Tech University will be present.
