Hall of Fame Inductees

Inaugural inductees into the Mountain View High School Athletic Hall of Fame were honored at the Feb. 7 basketball game. From left are Ward Roper, representing his late mother, Peggy Ward (athlete); Kevin McCarn (athlete), Kevin Johnson (distinguished service), Robbie Jeffery representing her late husband, Von Dean Jeffery (coach); and Chad Abernathy (athlete). Each year, three athletes and one distinguished service recipient will be added. Every five years a coach will be inducted. A nine-member committee makes the selection.
