Yellowjacket Teams Advance To Regional

The girls were stopped short by top-seeded Salem, 60-47, and the top-seeded Yellowjackets were upset by third-seeded Tuckerman in overtime, 62-60.

Both girls and boys will play against teams from Corning Thursday in the regional tournament, the girls at 4 p.m. and the boys at 5:30 p.m.

Winners advance to Friday’s semifinal round with an automatic bid to the Class 3A State Tournament the following week at Elkins.
